Privacy Policy

This policy describes how PhotoKind handles information when you use photokind.ai.

Information we process

We process account identifiers and access credentials; prompts, uploaded media, generated outputs, projects and import metadata; purchase references, amounts and payment status; support messages and contact information; and technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, session records and security logs. Your access token is encrypted in the server-side session.

How information is used

We use information to authenticate access, operate generation and editing tools, store your work, process purchases and refunds, answer support requests, prevent misuse, diagnose errors and meet legal obligations. Where applicable, processing is based on performing our agreement with you, legitimate operational and security interests, legal obligations, or consent when required.

Service providers and disclosure

Payment information is processed by Stripe under its privacy policy. PhotoKind does not receive or store your full card number or security code. Hosting, storage, AI-processing, payment and operational service providers receive information needed to perform their functions. Prompts and reference media are transmitted to the processing services needed for your selected generation. Do not submit secrets or sensitive information you do not want processed by these services. Data may be processed outside your country. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable protections.

Cookies and browser storage

We use session and security cookies for authentication and protection against forged requests. Some interface preferences may be saved in your browser. Third-party resources, including checkout and externally hosted scripts and styles, may receive technical connection data. Disabling necessary cookies may prevent sign-in and checkout from working.

Retention and security

We keep media and project data while needed to provide your account's features, and retain financial, security and support records as needed for legal obligations, disputes and legitimate operations. Deletion can take time to propagate through backups and service providers. Account-scoped access and private storage help protect media, but no system is completely secure. Anyone who obtains your access token may be able to access your account.

Your choices and rights

You can manage available media through the application, disconnect your session, and contact us to request access, correction, deletion or closure. Depending on your location, you may have rights to portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint to a privacy regulator. We may verify your identity before acting. Requests to delete records may be limited by legal retention requirements. We do not sell personal information for money.

Age and updates

PhotoKind is intended for users 18 or older. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. Policy updates will appear here with a revised effective date. Send privacy requests through our contact page.
