Your first PhotoKind workflow

Connect PhotoKind

Open Settings and enter your PhotoKind access token. PhotoKind uses your existing models, balance, and credits.

Upload images, video, or audio in Assets, or import your existing Higgsfield library.

Choose a model in Studio, add a prompt and references, review the exact credit price, then submit.

Importing

Bring your Higgsfield library into PhotoKind

  1. Connect PhotoKind in Settings first so imported media is attached to the correct private account.
  2. Open Assets, choose Import from Higgsfield, and sign in directly with Higgsfield.
  3. Choose Preview import. Everything is selected by default; turn off prior completions, media types, metadata, or folders you do not want.
  4. Choose Import selected items. PhotoKind copies the available files into private storage and skips duplicate files.
  5. If the connection cannot expose part of the library, use the bulk-export ZIP upload in the same import window.
After import: media appears in Assets and is available from Studio, Canvas, Storyboard, and Timeline pickers.

Troubleshooting

Common questions

Why is Generate unavailable?
Connect PhotoKind first. If the quoted cost is above your remaining balance, replenish your credits and request a new quote.
Why is imported media missing?
Run Preview again and check the selected media types, dates, and folder filter. Use the bulk-export upload if Higgsfield does not expose the missing files.
Why was an item skipped?
PhotoKind skips identical files and unsupported file types. The import result reports imported, duplicate, and skipped counts.
Why is an asset absent from a picker?
Confirm it appears in Assets and matches the picker type: image, video, or audio. Refresh the editor after a new import.
Privacy

Your account stays separate

  • PhotoKind never receives your Higgsfield password; sign-in happens directly with Higgsfield.
  • Your PhotoKind access token is encrypted in the server-side session.
  • Imported assets and generation history are scoped to the connected PhotoKind account.
  • Generation prices are shown before submission, and jobs are blocked when the balance is too low.
